Description:
We are seeking a Line Manager, Logistics to play a key role in meeting the goals of the business in today's challenging and changing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and administer the activities of unionized employees in a modern Supply Chain environment for both Planning and Material Handling activities.
• Monitor activities in compliance to Bombardier Manufacturing Systems Practices.
• Oversee the schedule of material to support Production.
• Supervise employees in their execution of responsibilities as defined by Bombardier Manufacturing Systems for Material Planning and Material Handling.
• Utilize Manufacturing excellence and Six Sigma/Blitz tools involving the shop floor and office teams to ensure best practices within their respective area.
Qualifications:
• Diploma or University degree in business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Inventory Planning/Material Handling.
• Must be able to foster a sense of teamwork and excellence in the workplace.
• Demonstrated leadership skills combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good planning of activities and understanding of the customer supplier relations.
• Must be pro-active, results-oriented and strive for continued improvement.
