Description:
• We are seeking an experienced Manager, sourcing procurement, operation cost management in Montreal.
• The incumbent will mainly work in the improvement of business processes for supply chain and procurement functions.
• These processes can be evaluated indifferent sizes of companies.
The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
• Evaluation of business processes, analyzing client issues.
• Critical evaluation in views of identifying improvements.
• Leverage existing cross-functional delivery methodologies.
• Preparation of flowcharts and narrative descriptions of business processes.
• Preparation and execution of implementation projects.
• Implementation of leading practices.
• Preparation of reports and business proposals.
• Presentations to clients.
Skills:
A successful candidate will possess the following skills and behaviours:
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Ability of analyzing and interpreting information.
• Multi-tasking and flexibility abilities.
• Supply chain experience - ERP-MRP- procurement implementation experience is a strong asset.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver Supply Chain Sourcing and Procurement services:
– Operations Improvement.
– Sourcing & procurement - P2P experience.
– Strategic sourcing.
– Procurement and e-Procurement.
– Process redesign, streamlining processes.
– 4-8 years Industry experience with emphasis on Consumer Products, Manufacturing, and Retail sectors and in particular the food industry.
– Experience in consulting would be a definite asset.
– University degree is required: masters degree in Supply Chain Management or in Engineering is a strong asset.
– Fluent bilingualism written and spoken.
– Travel is required in Canada and the USA.
