Description:
• As a member of our team, the Senior will lead client engagement teams and work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services.
• In addition, the Senior is responsible for some business development activities on strategic priority accounts.
• The Change Enablement service assists clients in successfully managing and sustaining people, process and/or technology change.
• This may include the identification and management of stakeholders, leadership development, organizational design, training, cultural assessment and development, talent management, workforce strategies, and planning and executing key communications.
• Services may include: development of driver-based business plans and operational models that address customer behaviour (churn, referral, up-purchase), product profitability, credit and payment behaviour, and pricing diagnostics.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in change management engagements; can include a wide range of responsibilities including: data analysis, conducting assessments, report development, workshop execution, etc.
• Assist in proposal writing: including overviews of methods and tools, qualifications, etc.
• Develop internal network within EY, particularly within Advisory; in Canada, specific US markets, and UK as required.
• Develop deep familiarization with EY databases and knowledge network: this will assist in easy and efficient access to research material, method and tools, POVs, etc.
• Exposure to client: must have polished and professional presence, effective communicator, and client relationship capabilities.
• High quality of work across everything you do: deck development, email correspondence, proposal writing, etc.
• Collaborate as required with other Advisory practices/groups on engagements and practice development activities.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management.
• Collaborate to plan engagement objectives and a strategy that addresses risk and performance improvement.
• Manage expectations of service delivery.
• Stay informed of business/economic developments and their impact to the client.
• Demonstrate high levels of technical and professional knowledge and quickly assimilates new knowledge.
• Keep up-to-date with current developments and trends in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.
• Commit to developing knowledge, continue to learn and share knowledge with clients and team members.
• Respect/protect client information.
To qualify, candidates must have:
• A bachelor's degree and approximately 3-5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 1-3 years of related work experience.
• A degree and/or Master's degree with an emphasis in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, MIS (business perspective).
• Approximately 3+ years of experience in providing advisory services in change enablement areas including: Leadership Development, Stakeholder Management, Communications, Organizational Design, Training, Governance, Workforce Strategies, Human Resources Transformation, Talent Management and Culture.
• Experience delivering projects that cover the full life-cycle of Assess, Design and Implementation support.
• Experience in project management (managing a team, deliverable, client relationship…).
• Work collaboratively in a team environment (knows when to lead and when to follow).
• Experience managing staff on multiple projects and providing direction to team members.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills , including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, etc…
• High level of motivation and a self starting attitude.
• Ability to think outside of the box, thrive on new challenges
• Strong work ethic.
• Willingness to travel on short notice to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 80%.
• Flexibility and ability to travel.
