Description:
• The Supply Chain Team Lead position is responsible for supervising and managing an SAP application team supporting the Supply Chain Planning, Procurement and Logistics functions (SAP MM, SD, WM, SRM modules) for our client.
• This requires a strong knowledge and experience with SAP R/3.
Responsibilities Include:
• Managing quality and scheduling of application solutions.
• Establishing long-term goals and directions for application development and maintenance.
• Developing and executing application management processes.
• Working with client management to clarify business requirements, identifying user issues and applying knowledge of how applications support business processes to solve business problems and providing design/configuration guidance.
• The team lead will work with a counterpart to direct an offshore team and oversee the ongoing support of the application including.
• Support of key business processes, trouble ticket resolution, batch monitoring/scheduling and application support.
Qualifications:
Essential:
• 4 + years of related professional experience in SAP application development/support (MM, SD, WM, SRM modules).
• 4 + years of experience preferably with a combination of application development and functional experience in sales order processing, supply chain, planning, purchasing and logistics.
• All areas desired - not required.
• Bachelors degree in math, computer science, business/MIS, or related job experience.
Preferred:
• Strong knowledge of at least two of the following: SAP MM, SD, WM, SRM modules BW, SAP R/3.
• Demonstrated ability and desire to learn new technologies and application platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SAP technology.
• Understanding of Application Support operations.
• Understanding of application architecture.
• Occasional travel to Edmonton.
