Description:
• We are seeking a wide variety of individuals to help lead the identification of improvement opportunities to eliminate waste, reduce total cost, simplify design and implement design for manufacturability.
• Below you will find detailed job descriptions for each available role here in Montreal.
• Reporting to the Program department as part of a multidisciplinary team to reduce cost, you will ask to:
– Identify waste in manufacturing, assembly, processes, transportation, supply chain, etc.
– Identify the full potential of cost-related improvements.
– Prioritize initiatives highlighted in workshops with a focus on maximizing ROI (Return on Investment).
– Work in close cooperation with other members of the TVM team.
– Facilitate workshops.
– Ensure governance and perform associated follow up.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate meets these requirements:
• Strong Knowledge in manufacturing and assembly processes and logistics.
• Knowledge about cost of processes.
• Understanding manufacturing structure.
• Good knowledge about Just in Time (JIT) principles and Lean concepts.
• Technologist diploma in aeronautics or industrialization.
• With 7- 10 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing environment covering a range of areas.
• Fluently bilingual in English and French, spoken and written.
• Strong leadership, team spirit, action and result-oriented.
• Capacity to efficiently solve problems.
