Description:
Senior Manager to lead opportunity analysis, sourcing strategy development and sourcing implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead client supply chain resources in identifying and pursuing sourcing opportunities.
• Develop, track and manage project plans.
• Lead the development of project deliverables.
• Engage client stakeholders from across the business on individual projects.
• Access Accenture content and subject matter experts in specific spend categories.
• Conduct external market research on the supply market.
• Analyze client historical and forecast spend data.
• Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies (e.g., RFI, RFP, contract development).
• Provide updates to the client supply chain leadership team.
• Manage issue resolution, either directly on the project team, or through the intervention of the supply chain leadership.
• Transfer sourcing knowledge to client resources.
Qualifications:
Skills Requirements:
• 7+ years Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing and/or Procurement or Fulfillment experience.
• Knowledge of sourcing methods and tools, across the lifespan of a sourcing project.
• Strong SCM skills in: Procure to Pay; Supplier Relationship / Contract Management; Procurement Diagnostics and Transformation.
• Comfortable with data analysis and written/oral presentations.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry, or in capital intensive industries (e.g., mining, electricity, telecom).
• Comfortable leading client teams, with minimal project management oversight.
• Relevant category experience desirable, not essential (categories include Chemicals, Professional Services, IT, Oil & Gas Marketing and Retail).
